The Father - How can God be our Father?
He is firstly our Father because He created us, and secondly because He saved us and gives us new life.- How do we come to know God as the Father who saved us?
By receiving or welcoming the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. (John 1:12, "To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.") - When we come to God in Christ Jesus how are we sure we are made His Children?
Because He has promised to give us in this way "the Spirit of sonship, by which we cry 'Abba, Father'" (Romans 8:15)
