Why do we speak of the Lord Jesus as the Truth?
Because He alone knows God. (John 3:13)

The Life.
What does it mean when the Lord Jesus says that He is the Life?
That He is the author and giver of life.
What kind of life does our Lord give to those who trust Him?
Everlasting Life.
What is meant by "Life"?
The quality of life God wants those to have who know and love Him. (John 17:3)
What do the words "I am" teach us?
That coming to God is through a Living Person, our Lord Jesus Christ.
How does our Lord confirms that He alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life?
By adding "no-one comes to the Father except through me."

To whom should we come?
To the Father.
What is meant by "comes ... through Me."
Only through our Lord Jesus Christ can we approach God.
What is meant by coming to God through our Lord Jesus Christ?
Seeking God's grace, peace and mercy only on the ground of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us.

How can God be our Father?

How do we come to know God as the Father who saved us?
By receiving or welcoming the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. (John 1:12, "To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.")
When we come to God in Christ Jesus how are we sure we are made His Children?
Because He has promised to give us in this way "the Spirit of sonship, by which we cry 'Abba, Father'" (Romans 8:15)
